This is an extensive speaking assessment for elementary school English language learners. This is a summative or formative formal assessment. The reason why this is an extensive speaking assessment is because the students have to give a short speech or presentation on a given topic. It is fairly practical if it was used in a small class because it does not take much money nor need many resources to do. This assessment seems reliable if the teacher gives same topic to every student in the class and has specific criteria that the teacher is looking for. Also, it is authentic because most of the questions are personal questions such as their best friend, favorite style of clothes or truly admire person etc which are all related to their life. The teacher can give feedback to the students after their presentation by pointing out the major mistakes and share the rubric of the assessment and let them know what they need to improve and what they did well.
